Age: 19 | | | my bluey is very shy and seldom leaves his log. i come into my room in the afternoon and find droppings out of his log so i no he leaves i, just not wen im around. the thing is. i cant get him to drink from his water bowl wen im around, so i dnt no if hes drinking atm. and the only thing he will eat is grapes... r these ok for a bluetonge as there soul intake of food?

Grapes are fine what eles do you feed him? put a variety of food out for him he will take it.
He should be drinking from the bowl or he will find it when he wants too. |

all he will eat is his daily few grapes (bout 3 every day) and on saturdays a 10g tub of mealworms...

|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Mar-06 Location: Brisbane Age/Gender: 23  | | | | They mainly eat snails and slugs in the wild so you should try and get some of them, they will normally accept cat food and insects too, try some differant types of cat food(not fishy ones or dry stuff).
I wouldnt be worrried about it drinking, its probably just doing that when you arnt there. |

I wouldn't be concerned about the shyness. They like to hide a lot anyway. Maybe it's because they can't run away very fast!  |

how many and how often shuld i feed him? and where can i get these snails from?
he doesnt mind his grapes and as i said he gets like 20 mealies every saturday. i just cant afford to feed him 20 crickets or woodies or meealies everyday....
im looking for a cheap way to please my bluey and me.
