IMO they're treats not a staple

I used to hand feed them but a bite from a bluey is'nt always that pleasant
Mine love little button mushroom chopped up as well

A mix of fruit, veg and mushrooms with a raw egg mixed in and occasional meat in the form of canned pet food or mince works well. Insects (moths, crix, mealies or beetles) and pinkies are a good treat. And on top of that offer it thawed snails fairly often and it will love you
I've never had a "fussy" bluey so I don't think you'll have to much trouble experimenting with its diet

he doesnt mind his grapes and as i said he gets like 20 mealies every saturday. i just cant afford to feed him 20 crickets or woodies or meealies everyday....
im looking for a cheap way to please my bluey and me. |
Just go to nearly any pet shop and ask for "live garden snails". They'll love em, and eat shells and all. | | | |
