I have found some reinforced glass sheets that are used for pool fencing and was wondering if these would be suitable as the walls. Would they generate too much heat as the sun passes through the glass. I'm planning on heaps of logs and some plants for shade/shelter and a small pond for water.
Would burying them 20 to 30cm below ground level with an above ground height of 60 to 70cm be OK. Or would I need to bury them deeper and leave about 50cm above ground.
What would be the best plants to grow in the enclosure.
Also what other lizard species would be suitable to keep with the blueys.
Thanks.

As for heating up the enclosure, depends on what sort of roof you've got and how much ventilation. As for plants, any of the local species should be fine, just go for ground covers and low shrubby things as these will provide shelter for the Blueys and attract insects. You should be able to keep Beardies and EWDs together with Blueys if you've got enough room, and other skinks like Cunninghams.

I was planning on not having a roof over the whole area, maybe have a small roof over a corner for protection in severe weather. I was going to put some bird netting over it instead. That way they will get plenty of sun and air. The size would be approx 2m to 3m x 2m.
Cheers
