hello
um this is a quick 'Q' and might sound dumb but can a eastern bluie live with a central beardie? I think they cant because it might be a bit hot for the bluies but they are reptiles and they like the heat so will they be alright together.
And dose anyone no of any good care sheets for them (bluies) if possible.
Thanks

as long as tehy are all small together, blueys are quite big as babies compared to beardies. i only kept mine together once they were almost fully grown. at the moment, i hav 2 blueys, a shingleback and a beardie together in a 6 foot tank. but, soon they will be getting moved around when we move. so if your bluey is alot bigger than the beardies, house them seperate otherwise .........bye bye beardies. good luck mate. |

thats good. like i said, just monitor them for a little while at a time, just see how they react to each other, the bluey may hiss, the beardies may ark up and display there beard. that is totally normal. my beardy use to do it all the time in the beginning, but 5 yrs later. they are the best of freiends.

James - They should be the same size snout - vent length (from the nose to the base of the tail) if you count overall size most of a beardy is made up of tail so its body may not be big enough for it to not be considered food by a bluey.
In any case I would wait till the beardy is a few months old and grown a little bigger.
