Have you tried Pet City in Wishart? They've got a pretty comprehensive reptile book section, I'm almost positive I have seen 'Keeping and Breeding Australian Pythons' there. Not sure about the Chondro book though.

Keeping and Breeding Australian Pythons  I think it is a great book that my breeder described as the "Bible" !! It has HEAPS of info from everything to Species descriptions , enclosures and health problems. It has been a very resourcefull tool for me with hours of reading and helpfull information

You could buy one off ebay from the USA for AU $71.00 delivered or pay an extra 8 dollars for one from Australia. I bought mine (the more complete chondro) on ebay for $70 delivered.
