boys scared of girls

haha i always knew boys were scared of girls! but seriously i just put my boy and girl together for the first time and as soon as he saw her he went crazy and tried escaping... i opened the lid and he came straight out... he's never seen another snake before but she has... any ideas what to do?

yeah the people i bought my female from said she's already bred before and originally the pet shop said my boy was a girl but when i took him to the vet i asked if they could confirm that and he was definately a boy... dont see how the pet shop missed it! lol...

anyone have any suggestions? he's really worrying me... i've separated them but he's still going crazy... everytime he accidently touches something he starts moving around fast trying to escape...
