my friend suggested splitting his tank in half with mesh or something so they can see and smell each other to help him get used to her but she cant get him? would that help?

Wait till after cooling for a month , then warm them again . Wait 2 more weeks so they think it is spring and try them again . Then he will think about mating more than being eaten .

you will need to cool them for a lot longer yet, you can start to do your introductions
from now on, but it will take more than one intro to do the job, he should be in for a week and out for a week
and this should continue untill any mating activity ceases which could be over the next 3 to 4 months

ok so an update... my snake is still freaked of girls... i had my housemate hold my female and i held my boy to try to show her to him and she could see him and was extending herself as far as she could to get to him and it looked as thou he could see her but he was just sitting on my arm still... then she looked away and i moved him closer to have a smell and look at her at the furtherest place away from her head and as soon as his tongue touched her he freaked again and started going crazy... anymore ideas anyone?

I just dont want to keep introducing them if its really scaring him or stressing him out... should i just keep doing what i did today and see if it gets any better or should i split his enclosure in half by mesh so they can see each other but cant get to each other so he gets used to other snakes being around?

I Dont Think Snakes And Mesh Are A Good Idea Especially If He's A Bit Stressed Your On The Right Track Just Take It Slow. Beeman Is On The Money.

Did you shift him in to her enclosure or her into his? I always shift my males to my females cage. the males tend to look around and pace the cage for a day or so then settle down.
