break out!

i woke up this moring to find a small trail of destruction through my kitchen and dining room. so i decided to check the most likely culprit, a 4 foot water python housed in the dining area of the kitchen.
sure enough she was nowhere to be found. i had 20 minutes to try and find her before i had to leave for work, no luck there!
after returning from work i set about methodically dismantling the kitchen and living rooms, when in came my ever faithful labrador to save the day.
she was frantically sniffing around a cupboard for a while, i paid her no attention as we always used to hide her toy in it, and finding it was all part of the game for her.
but something made me change my mind and when i opened the door there she was all curled up and looking a little bit frightened after her night on the run!
thankfully all ended well today, thanks to the dog, who was well rewarded with a juicy bone to chew on! lucky really we found her as i have my snake fearing mother coming to visit in a few weeks, and i don't think she would have stayed here knowing the snake was on the loose! (if it had been my mother in law i would have left her loose for the time being)

Nice story paddy. I am glad that you have her back.
My mate have computer business and his house was robbed. people who done the crime opened all his cages and let all 14 snakes out. When he come home he was able to find only half of them. He is still hoping to find some more.
