| When I had them as pets a few years ago, I used breeders choice or another pellet style one, forget what they where called but they were dark green, made of alfalfa or something? From what I can remember they were good, but a bit more expensive I think. What wood shavings do people use? Arent mice and rats allergic to pine shavings? (or scented shavings). I used to use that for a month or two until I found that out (because they were sneezing and wheezing, and had weepy irritated eyes). I switched to breeders choice which fixed the problem.
