Breeding crickets - NOT a 'how to' question though

Hey all, I'm not going to peeve everyone off and ask how to breed them, theres already about a million posts on the subject, but my question is a strange one:

The ideal place for me to breed them is sitting on top of the hot water system, as all year round it is warm, however, it is in the laundry where the dog sleeps, now heres the strange question (you are gunna laugh) - do you think the crickets would annoy the hell out of a dog as much as it would out of us if they were bred in our bedroom????

I don't want to annoy my little girl, nor make her hear crickets 24/7 in her head. It would be a bit like chinese water torture!!!

Just try it...rather the dog be annoyed than you! LOL
Seriously, i don't think it will bother the dog too much.

HA HA. Thanks for that - and yes everyone, its a serious question (but I guess one many wouldn't think of).

I gotta do something, even being 7wk old Pygmy beardies, there gunna cost me a fortune the way they eat.

Breeding crickets is a great way to save $. Buying them in l8ittle containers costs a fortune...especially if u have alot of little hungry mouths to feed!

Tell me about it. First herps other than a lazy bluey that doesn't eat much. Didn't realise how few were in a container for $7.50 - and how much the beardies eat!!

Just worried that they will breed so quick I'll have a plague - but I guess I can sell them to you guys then!!!
