May not be correct but its what i have gathered from what i have been told.

The hope is that it emphasises the "good" trait rather than the bad. Different traits have different heretability so once the numbers are out there you can work out the likely progress in line breeding. The numbers and records with reptiles are so scanty which leaves a lot more to chance. |
