Yeah but an extension cord and chop it into as many pieces as you want. But PLEASE make sure you use shrink wrap to cover it and not just electrical tape. Seen how many houses burn down due to electrical fault. So just be carefull is all I'm saying.

I've been saying that for years mate, i've seen some dodgy wiring.
I always say if you aren't a sparky don't do it.
Go to an electrical shop and buy 1.5mm 2core+earth flex and some plug tops, no need for tape or shrink wrap.

The cheapest alternative is when your council cleanup is on, take your side cutters and go shopping. everything electrical has a cord. Just make sure the cord and plug are in good condition. We have just had cleanup around my area and I now have another nice collection of 2 pin plug leads.

Also on the topic of going to your electrical wholesaler, you will save a few dollars on gettin silvania reptistar tubes through them. They normally charge around $20 compared to at least $26 in shops.

Just trying to help save a dollar.
