The more the better i would think, especially natural UV. I had all 3 beardies, the EWD and both snakes out today to enjoy the sun. The baby beardies really enjoy it, they get all hyperactive.

I mean I have 2 x 4 foot NEC fluorescent tubes and one mercury vapour lamp in a 2m x600 x600 indoor enclosure and heat lamps on a thermostat.
is that to much uv.
I live in the snowy mtns and they don't get much natural sunlight

the cool end never reaches 28 deg.

How long out in the sun do u all reckon peeps???? I havent done that with mine yet. Oh and when taking them outside what is everyone's preferred thingy to put them in???? For obvious reasons.

Hey melgalea I notice u dont have any contained with yours in the pic so I take it u either trust it doesnt do a runner or that he can't run too far anyways.

i usually take mine out for at least an hour.
i put all of my fast moving lizards into a flexarium.

I use a leash and take them out for about an hour each each week they love it

but they dont have any at the moment.
