Can someone ID this fellow?

I photographed him near my family home in north east victoria a couple of years ago - and I only just remembered the photos. He is sitting on the path down to woolshed falls, near Beechworth. The falls are only a few kms from home.

He let me get within a foot and a half of him to take that photo. My guess is that he is a water dragon - but I'm not great at IDing lizards.

By the way - this is the falls (well part of it):

There is a few much bigger drops below that photo - and a bit of turbulence/a very very fast race cut through the rock up a bit. More photos if people want them - I have one of the whole thing from above somewhere.

See - I just looked at the long toes and though water dragon - If I had thought for a bit I might have picked it as a jacky - the problem was I havent seen enough of them to have it at the front of my mind.

Here is a pic lower down in the falls:

Its pretty awesome actually - but I don't really live there any more, I live in melbourne now due to uni etc. We have only had the place (and its my father and step mothers) a couple of years, Its brilliant - 30 acres of largely untouched bush block overlooking the woolshed valley with a national park 5 minutes away and a historic region park even closer. Dead silent too - occasional noise from the road, but that is the only noise from human habitation whatsoever. To make it better its only 4 km out of beechworth, so a run to the shops or a meal at the pub is so easy.
