Here in NSW we must release them unless deemed not releasable by the vet. Then we must hand it in to a herp society to sell or hand out.
If he has been given this animal to care for as it can not be released then I would say yes you can breed with the animal, but once again check with the local authorities.

You cannot make money seling rescues, but you may sell the offspring of legal rescues and make money.
To be classified as a legal rescue you must have the paperwork from the fauna permit unit.
as only the offspring of legal rescues may be sold. |
