if your keeping animals in it buy glass mate. perspex is rubbish stuff if anything is going to rub on it. only good thing it has is that you can screw it onto things. glass is a better finish. tougher, clearer and easier to clean. just get a quote for 6mm glass or head to a builders scrapyard and pick up some old windows or something.

Cheapest glass I have found is at the dump.
They sometimes have old sliding glass windows ect, then just build your enclosure around these dimensions.
Heres one I prepared earlier.

And yes i'll be using it for an enclosure door!....and i know its going to be pricey for a sheet of glass or what ever for a 6 - 7ft enclosure... so i just need some ideas .

I just built a 1800mm x 800mm x 750mm (6ft x 2.7ft x 2.5ft) and it only just $120 for the Glass, which is 5mm, rounded, polished and has handles ground in.

Salvage yards usually have abundant glass for $5 to $30 for your size. Glass suppliers will charge around $5 a cut to cut it for you. Go for at least 5mm. 6mm is usually a good thickness. Do NOT get toughened glass.
