'The Herp Shop' sells radient heat panels.

I have been trying to get 'snake restraining tubes' with not much luck. The herp shop has them on their site, but haven't been able to get them for a while. If anyone knows where I can get them from, please let me know

Yeah, but you can buy it as a kit, with heaps of different sizes - it's thin clear tubing.

i dont mind the products purchasable off australian websites.
my problem is i live in a area where the nearest pet shop is 30 minutes away and doesnt sell aything remotely herp friendly. so i have to drive an hour to coffs harbour if im in real need of something. and buying it there sets me back an absolute arm and a leg...

I Think Things Need To Be Cheaper And More Widely Available. More Shops We Can Walk Into And Buy Off The Shelf Rather Than Relying On Postage. For Instance I Bought A Heatcord The Other Day And When It Got Here The Package Was Torn To Shreds. Lucky It Still Works.
Just My 2 Cents
Matt

This type of tub is excellent as condensation can't pool above the eggs and drip onto them. More of these being available would be good.

rodents are definately overpriced, i think more competition is needed, especialy our area, the reptile barn in penrith closed down, we used to be able to get mice for $1.50 or $2. but the pet stores around have sent their prices sky high, i payed $20 to get 5 mice the other day, i mean that is rediculous.

stockeh, 3 minuets after writing that, i saw your thread.. but hey, competitive prices? lol

as for the incubator, some one should get those, they not only look cool, but would be much cheaper than a $1800 reptile incubator, or spending $300 on a hovabator, or making a dodgy one ourselves..

Pro- Heat panels are far better than the radiant heat panels available here. They are specifically designed for reptiles. The technicians from the company that make them here couldn't supply any reptile specific information. Pro-heat calculate your requirements based on cage dimensions, material construction type, species kept and the ambient environment your herp room experiences before thet will even sell to you. This is serious service. Unfortunately they are not available directly from here, but they are still cheap IMO!

Aspen i find freely available here, it is just expensive. Both Kaytee and Zoo-Med do large bags.

Those Cambro "incubation" containers are available here and i have the product codes on my email. They are available through catering stockists that stock cambro products. they are not a kit but 3 seperate items. You can't just buy them as is in the states either.

I'm happy with what we have and importing stuff is pretty cheap anyway. The prices are way overinflated once someone acts as an agent here! JMO!
