I have a python who I reckon is backed up a bit, Im giving him a warm bath just to help get things moving.
What is the next step? Has anyone injected parrrafin oil into a rat and fed the snake? any similar remedies?
Cheers

If the enclosure is too cold, the snake may wrap itself around the heatsource, this will harden the stool, and the snake will be unable to pass the stool through its digestion system.
I would suggest injecting mineral oil into a small food item, about 1mL per KG of body weight, when the food is digested, the oil will be released and the stool passed out shortly after! This worked for when I treated several constipated snakes at a friends collection, thankfully he no longer keeps herps!! Mites and everything he had!
Also you could soak the snake in shallow warm water for around 15mins per day, for about half a week (4days) |

Your doing right by trying the warm bath thing, I have also gently massaged the snake around the bowel to, but be gentle if you try it.
Another way of getting the oil down without using food is by placing a rubber tube over the end of a syringe, the type used by the vets for forcefeeding liquidised foods, and then gently insert into the mouth holding open slightly with a specula or similar, it's obviously a more intrusive method, and more stressful, but doesn't risk you creating more of a backup of food by injecting a mouse and feeding.
Either with food or without would be OK, but I would personally prefer without if it is definately constipated.
Good luck with it anyway.
