Constriction Addict

All my pythons will grab their prey, constrict it for a couple of minutes then start with the fang work. Except one. She will grab the prey and constrict, and constrict and constrict. Then constrict some more. Tonight she constricted for about 20 minutes then dropped the prey (and it was looking really thin) , took the prey a second time then constricted a bit more finally eating the prey. Also she likes to constrict around a branch. And its a strong constrict, stuff comes out of the back end of the prey.

Has anyone else seen this type of behaviour?

Most of mine just constrict for a few minutes until the rat has his "death crap", there's a new one for you Slatey), then eats it.

Fuscus my little bredli is the same contrict for ages then will actually take off across the table(where she is fed) like a dog with a bone she just wants to nick off with her kill somewhere to hide and devour.
Sometimes makes dinner a very messy process with thawed rats exploding.
Not sure about the branch fiasco maybe just showing you how tough he/she is.Maybe a bit of a tenser.

Yeah my Inland carpet will constrict and constrict...then let go and sniff the rat for a bit, then kill it some more, then eventually eat it. Meh, as long as it ends up in her belly within a reasonable amount of time she can play with her food all she likes.
One of my diamond's is kinda like zoe's one. But he'll strike fiercely, then just eat it straight away.
