Crickets or Roaches?

I own an Inland Bearded dragon who eats just about anything. Which is better for him, crickets or roaches?

Do people breed theirs or buy them? Live insects are so overpriced.

I tried to breed Roaches, they all died and smelled really bad...

Crickets are alot better.

I would start off with a few hundred 300 - 500 would get you a colony that will likely be sustaining itself within a month or two - and they are SIMPLE to keep...

I bought 100 roaches, I fed them and looked after them, but after about 2 weeks all were dead, I hate those things so much, it sends a chill down my spine just thinking of it.
