just out of curiosity does anyone know how much an adult salt water croc would be worth

Pretty sure salties can only be kept up untill they reach 1m lengths than need to be returned to the croc farm where they were purchased from & exchanged for hatchies.

And that dosn't apply to NSW keepers as we are not allowed any period.

You can keep them in SA im fairly sure, but they are obviously only for ppl ready for a life time responsiblily, experience in handling and ppl to help with handling such dangerous animals and that rules out 99% of recreational keepers.

I guess you could just keep it for a bit as a novelty and then neglect it or sell it when you cant look after it.

in the NT if you are out of darwin limits you can have them as big as you like and i think in sa as well price just tryin to find out

Can keep them in vic with the advanced license and you can keep them much longer then 1m not sure if you have to give them back at all. They have been advertised before and by memory were going for about $200 but that was a little while ago.
