Does anyone know where I can get day old chicks from? Frozen that is  . Our sick coastal ate one last week and since he still won't even acknowledge a rat's there we're probably going to have to try and find a fairly regular source of them at least for now! I know Hugsta was selling some but they're pick up only and I thought I'd see if I can find elsewhere before I start begging him to send me some lol.

Best bet is to ring up a local chicken hatchery and talk to them about it.
Egg farms euthenase all roosters at day old, thousands per day.
If you are in a wildlife rescue organisation, they will often give them to you (not frozen though).
Otherwise they charge about 5c each usually.
