Decisions Decisions

To start off my new collection im only going to be keeping a pair of snakes till the end of the year before i expand it. But im not sure wheather i should keep a pair of Copperheads or a pair of Tiger snakes. Copperheads are my favourite snakes, but we have some really nice tigers here too and they are an easier snake to care for. Any thoughts or opinions welcome.

What state are you in - i wouldn't have thought any state in Oz would license someone under 18 to keep vens? In any case, i'd go the Copperheads over the Tigers. But Death Adders over the Copperheads.

You dont need cash down here. If you're under 16 just get a parents signiture on the application form and you're in buissness

That's crazy, so a 17 year old can't drink or gamble but they can keep a Tiger Snake??

So you mean the license is in the parents name?

The permit is held by you, but the parent is resposible. We only have one permit that covers all tassie's non-threatened reptiles.

The depatment doesn't take resposibility for injury or death resulting from snakebite for those who keep them. You dont even require training or experience.
