Hi all,Could some body please tell me at what age do diamond pythons start to thicken up, Reason for asking is my 2 diamonds which are 7 month apart are growing so differant to each other ,when i got the second one they were the same size now in 4 months the female has tripled in size .She 17 months old,He is 1 year old ,they both eat around the same each weeek. well if any one can let me know i would much appreciate it.

I wouldn't worry too much, in my opinion, if they are otherwise feeding well and look healthy. Of course, you could always get them checked by a vet, in case the male has parasites.
The female is 5 months older, so you would expect her to be bigger. Possibly she was underfed to begin with. Nicole and I bought our diamonds at the same time, but mine has grown much bigger than hers (at last viewing, some months ago). http://www.aussiepythons.com/albums/...mond/size2.jpg.
They were bought from the same breeder, but different batches. Temperature and diet when younger could have had an influence. .....anyway, that's how I see it! Hope it helps you feel better about things! :-)
