Although I have been lurking in the shadows since joining this site of colourful charactors, It is time I made my debut ..... and join the banter
Pics are (not the best but you get the idea) of myself, my male yearling and female juvi, and of course their domain
note: Female is being housed seperately in a porta plastic tub inside of this enclosure.

the globe is only the housing to a ceramic Plug ... has UV strobe in casing also

Not at all ....I cheat.... the river stones are on fly netting with aborsant pellets underneath ... I use a bagless vaccum cleaner to remove most of the river stones then lift the remainer out with the fly net ....seems to work thus far

I like the enclosure ... and the diamond's also.
The globe is a neat way to provide light. I hate bare light bulbs in an enclosure.
The drawback with a closed in housing for a heat source is that it restricts the air flow around the heat source which might reduce its longevity.
I love high yellow diamonds. Yours seem to be at the stage where they look better and better with every slough ;-) Enjoy!
