Maybe ask around to see if someone has a copy of the spencer monitor submission to give you a better idea. I know a few people working on trying to get the advanced list like other states whereby if you could legally obtain it from other states then you can keep it. |

Thats why 2011 will be a good yr to floor them with submissions. |

But thanks heaps for the info. Still sucks that the rules are all different, who cares which state it is in as long as it is being cared for correctly. Oh well.

a. Must be tropical species (above tropic of capricorn)
b. Must be registered as a zoo/wildlife park or have a registered business with display permit
c. Submit care and management plan
d. vet checked for OPMV, chrypto, certified no previous IBD on premises
Reasons being so hard.....they are not naturally occuring in Tassie, could pose a threat to native wildlife, and the BIGGEST concern.....at present we are a disease free state.
To gove you an idea of the process.....I have been waiting 3 1/2 months to gain approval to import a spencers.....still no definitive answer |
