Oh, and are they active at all during winter ? or do they just sleep in a hide the whole time ?

Can you handle them during those months ? or should you just leave them alone ?

Cheers.

I keep Diamonds in Brisbane.

I have two males from the same clutch. They are 7 years old.
All other brothers and sisters from same clutch were kept
indoors and are all dead now!

My two males have lived outside in an aviary all their lives(except first year) and are in perfect health. In fact the parents of my males are still
going strong, they live outdoors also.

During winter it gets down to zero at night and the diamonds cope fine.

They are still active each day during winter, coming out for a bask and then going back to their hide boxes.

Now mine are mating! woo hoo.
