Does My snake have a respitory infection?

Ive noticed that when i listen to my coastal python slosley that i can hear clicking. What should i do about it?

Im not overly sure. I live in central QLD and i was told that i need no heating. It does get quiet warm in the room she is in tho.

Well your python needs a warm end and a cooler end in its enclosure and you should monitor the temps with a thermometer. The warm end should be something like 30c i think (someone with more knowledge feel free to correct me), it might also be worth a trip to the vet if you cant get the correct heat in time it could get worse.

If it is RI yeah you should be worried if it gets worse you could lose your snake. Has it shed lately? Cause it could possibly be a scale in its nose or something.

Sorry. Its my first snake and ive only had it for i think 4 days now and im not sure what RI is. Im not sure how long its been since she shed.

Has it just shed or is it coming up to one?
Perhaps some skin in the nasal passage???

Ok well that makes it a bit difficult i guess, has its eyes gone milky lately? Have you contacted the person you got it off and asked when it last shed and fed so you can start keeping record?

Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will speak up and help you out.
