That is so true.
It makes me sick when i see people kiss their animals.
Dont worry the animals are probably worried about where some humans mouths have been too !

As herpers we are always complaining about other pet keepers when they are told that we keep snakes and other reptiles, most of their reactions are all "eww, yucky, you keep filthy snakes?"
And 99% of the time most herpers will have a whinge and a b**ch about it.
What has this thread turned into.......A hypocritical haven.
People love dogs as much as we love our snakes, i have owned many dogs and they have always been/become a member of my family.
As herpers with the most unusual of pets, we should be the ones to be open minded the most and this thread isnt a very good example of our attitudes on a whole. NOT that its in the public eye, i know a member of "silky terriers forum" would un-likely be here spying, but it still reflects in our attitudes when we are being told our pets are "yuck". We should be informative of the animals, not defensive of our hobby.
Just my 8 cents worth.
