Dragon ID...

Okay-

So what is the general consensus on this guy? What species is he?

He frequents a friends mothers backyard in QLD regularly.
He's about a foot or so long, and likes bird food apparently! He's also quite placid- he was a bit rowdy when my friend first approached him, but he soon settled down, and didn't want to leave- he hung around quite happily for about 30 mins!
I have access to more pics if anyone would like to see.

Scam...shush!

LOL! So they're on the keepable list? Are they easy to take care of? My mate lives in Dapto- so he'd be well pleased to know he can own some himself!

RE: Dragon ID...

Yeah they are great lizards to keep IMO, you just need a large enclosure with a pond or very big water bowl preferably outdoors depending on where Dapto is.

They would have to be one of if no the hardiest lizard in australia. They seem to thrive in suburban areas and can be found in inner city areas in good numbers
They are usually fairly cheap to buy because they are so common and lay heaps of eggs in a season.

RE: Dragon ID...

can usually get hatchies for about $40 each, as cris said they do need a large water area when they get older

RE: Dragon ID...

I'm sure my mate will be happy to know all that.

He's actually my ex fiance! I'll have to tell him about this forum and get him to come here
