| | | eastern blueys and blotched blueys just wondering if these 2 types of blue tongues can be kept together. i have a large outdoor enclosure that i am working on 7m x 3m and was trying to think what i could put in there. i live in the blue mountains, NSW, so if anyone has some ideas of other species i could keep in this environment i would love to here.
thanks in advance for any help
cheers, ian |

If you have both sexes with both species the chances of interbreeding is less but they may not be exclusive. Confinement does strange things to all organisms, just look at what happens in gaols. Your enclosure would be large enough and you may find that they inhabit different parts of it. |

| | | | thanks for that.
another question.
if i had for example, a trio of blotched blueys and a trio of easterns, would there be any aggression between the males of the 2 species.
thanks again for the help, ian |

Male easterns and or blotched dont generally behave aggressively to ward each other.
There are of course always exceptions. Anything with a hint of northern tends to be more aggresive. | | |
