so heres my thought/question.
i was under the impression snakes generally dont like to eat around the time that they are ready to shed.
what have others found for their snakes?
i have had 2 different childrens pythons shed within the hour of eating.

I have a couple of snakes that would eat while shedding if I let them too. I usually try not to though because I'm sure fussy eaters would reject their meal, or even worse regurgitate it.

75% of mine will eat the same day as shedding, I don't feed huge food items so it's never an issue. If they want to eat they will eat.

My girl would probly eat the same day as she slough's although she usually won't eat after going cloudy up until the day she shed's (due to the fact that she can't see much i'm guessing) in fact, she normally stays in her hide the whole time and only come out when she's ready to slough

Yeah , my snakes have eaten and then shed a day or so later... I have fed them not knowing they we were about to shed.....
But again I dont feed huge meals... Just a lil more often... So it isnt real hard for my snakes to lose their skin over the slight bulge in their stomach.
