Tatelina it didn't cost much at all and theres not alot of work in converting it into an enclosure.
Tv unit was an ebay bargain: $100.00
Perspex: $99.00
Extra timber: $10.00
Stain: $10.00
Total: $219.00
It took a weekend to build and a further weekend to deck it out with the waterfall, logs ect.

nice. thats a great idea, ive built all of mine from scratch using melamine. I might keep an eye out at any garage sales, cheap furniture shops. whack a bit of glass in, lights, thermo.....

I would probably buy one. I think i live near you aswell. how much would you sell a 3x2x2ft tank for unwired just the enclosure and glass pretty much

Hey buzzboy - mate, I might take you up on the offer sometime, or at least ask advice - at the moment just one young bluey but would like it to change into a bunch of them.....wondering if you could spilt something that big into 2 parts horizontally (top and bottom) and have some sort of ramp type thing for lizards to get from top to bottom - would make a great home (and interesting talking piece) for a colony of blueys!
Cam - I'm just over the other side of the line at Sutherland, down past the SUS club heading down to Jannali - near Jannali High.
