Smile Enclosure for Maccie and Bredli

Hi there everyone, I have a little spotted python which is in a 4 foot tank.... and from the pictures that I have seen of other people's maccie enclosures, (which are much smaller by comparison), I have maybe given her too much space? What do you think?

And if I were to get a Bredli, and put the maccie in a smaller enclosure, would my current 4 foot enclosure be big enough for the Bredli?

I really need help on this one if anyone can give me advice!

Cheers,

Renee

P.S. If someone can tell me how, I will post some pics of my enclosure!

You can never have too much space, 4 foot imo would be ideal for a mac. A bredli would be ok in a 4fter but a 5 would be much much better.

does she 'explore' the tank?
or does she just hide continuously?
if she is out and doesnt seemed to stressed or edgy. it probably fine
just make sure that there are plent of hides

Hey motman, she does explore in the early evening, and always comes out around 5pm to bask under the heatlamp.

Would she still be ok in say, a 2 or 3 foot tank? Or would it be too cruel to "downgrade" her tank???
