Smile enclosure size

hey guys i going to make a few more enclosures for coastals would 900mm H x 900mm W x 560mm D be big enough for an adult coastal? i dont have any adults at the moment the biggest is 3 1/2 foot but it will be his home for a while.What do you guys think of the sizes?

I'd go for something bigger. [ if you've got enough space ]
I've got a couple of large Diamonds & their kept in 1500x1200x600 enclosures.
Gives them a bit of space to climb etc.
Hope this helps you out.

coastals can grow 3m+ so 3000mm / 900mm = 3.33 that means mr/mrs snake will be three layers high along the front side or 3000mm/560mm or 5.4 layers deep down the side.

I think he is referring to how many times the python could 'snake' itself along the length the different sides. i.e. a 3m coastal could lie it's body along the height or width in 3 section.

Confusing explanation short, he think you need a bigger enclosure!

i thought the general rule was, the length plus one width should be a little longer than the length of the snake, any shorter than its too small.. i guess its probably different for aboreal species..
