Ever seen this before?

A WA shingleback, this is the first time I have ever seen one like this, pic from Reptiles of Australia by Eric Worrell 1970.

There is some MUCH nicer ones than that in WA, I have seen them with a violet colouring, orangy yellow etc. They are soooooo much nicer than eastern ones. If I could get hold a few bob tails, I reckon i'd be highly tempted. BTW, that is just an ordinary WA bob tail that is found in suburban back yards.

The animal on the right was in a pre-slough condition & returned to the red & black colouration immediately after sloughing.
