Natives only, no matter how good an animal looks the last thing i want is an exotic desease getting into my collection and at the risk of having pests and all sorts of weird crosses being bred id rather just stick to the natives but each to there own.

I love Aussie pythons but most definately wouldn't pass up the opportunity for an Amazon Basin Emerald Tree Boa! They are bloody gorgeous.

I think if allowed i would still keep aussie snakes (lets face it we do have the best in the world) but as far as exotics go im only really interested in corns or retics but i dont think we should be allowed to breed or sell exotics. we should only keep them.

I love my aussie reptiles, they are some of the best in the world, but having travelled south america extensively last year, there are a few species over there I would love to have! Brazillia Rainbow Boas, the emerald tree boas, anacondas look amazing in real life (though not sure I'd really want to have to house one...), green iguanas, marine iquanas have some amazing colour variations in the Galapagos, Emerald Basilik Lizards, and some of the vipers...I could go on and on!

But I'm happy with our natives! I would love a GTP above anything else, if only I had the $$$!

Theirs somthing about keeping native animals that excites me. I duno if i will ever get a non native pet again. If the DEC would let me keep other natives such as mammals and stuff i definatly would get some.
