Shouldn't be a problem to handle after a shed. It's usually before a shed when they get a little testy. However, you might want to leave it for a day or two after he's eaten.

Probably some people will say otherwise, but (imo) I prefer to leave my animals alone for at least two days (preferably a few more) after a feed. Especially if they are a reasonable size (say 12 months or more) as I've found they seem to rev right up on feeding days and a day or two after being fed, and if your going to get bitten and coiled (as food) that's the prime times. A few days after feeding most seem to calm down and relax again and are much more easily handled.

Unless there is some emergency etc, I would leave handling them for at least a few days after a feed. In my opinnion it does no good to stress them out by unecessary handling especially after feeding.

If he fed the day before i would leave him be , maybe give him 2-3 day after a feed , well thats just my opinion ...as for the shed he should be to handle the next day ....

I personally wait a day after mine has fed. She is only young and isnt bothered by coming out but i will only have her out for half an hour, and if she is especially fat ill leave her 2 days
