I was tinking silkworms and earth worms, and was wondering what are wax worms, are they in Australia and if so where would i get them, and also was thinking about cabbage moth caterpillars, however they feed on brassicas and i was worried about the acid content. Has anyone got any advice - other than harden up and breed woodies

I am sure you can order wax worms from pisces through your pet shop, they also do silkworms and earthworms.
Cabbage caterpillars are fine. |

Junglepython2, i was thinking about impaction, but i don't want to handle the gex any more than necessary, would a 'table' like a jar lid or simialr be ok to put the worms on to stop sand getting on them?
