Feeder insects

Ok, so i've got my knobtails, and i'm happy to feed them crickets, but, apart from woodies(not happening, no way, no how, NO) what other insects can i breed to feed them? I was tinking silkworms and earth worms, and was wondering what are wax worms, are they in Australia and if so where would i get them, and also was thinking about cabbage moth caterpillars, however they feed on brassicas and i was worried about the acid content. Has anyone got any advice - other than harden up and breed woodies

I breed roaches and crix for mine wouldn't bother breeding anything else. I also feed them wild moths from outside which they love though.

Silkworms are a great food supply, they seem to grow quick on them and woodies.
I am sure you can order wax worms from pisces through your pet shop, they also do silkworms and earthworms.
Cabbage caterpillars are fine.

I would be careful with earthworms, if you feed them on sand, the gecko's may ingest more sand then earthworm which could lead to impaction.

Thanks brettix! Junglepython2, i was thinking about impaction, but i don't want to handle the gex any more than necessary, would a 'table' like a jar lid or simialr be ok to put the worms on to stop sand getting on them?

I just want to give them a variety, their main diet would be crix

get some gents (maggots) from your local bait and tackle shop, use a pair of tweezers to give the little heads a good squeeze first then feed them to your lizards, they are good because they are soft bodied unlike crickets and roaches.
