diamonds have complety differnt care requierments to most other pythons ,
people that feed there diamonds every 8-10 days will end up killing it ,,
diamonds need to be feed every 14- 20 ish days .
and need cooler temps then the norm.. |

I have tried fuzzies and pinkies and she dosen't seem to be interested in either of them, She is in healthy condition i'm just getting a little worried that she hasn't eaten since i've had her (6 weeks).
Cheers. |

There is no proof that DPS is related to feeding size/amount, but feed less if you feel you'd rather be safe than sorry. |

this guide shows how many times to feed a particular sized food item before introducing larger size..
EG , for carpets it says , feed 7- 14 times on fuzzie mice then move up to hoppers for 14 feeds then feed 21 weaners or fuzzie RATS before moveing on to hopper rats and so on ,,,you must remember that if your snake can eat a meal fast with no problem then its time to up size its food , your snake should have to strech it mouth to get it in ..good luck ,, you can download this chart at dolittlefarms .com |

If you're planning on feeding your snake adult mice forever, you're dreaming, they can eat bigger, and they'll probably want bigger.. Unless you're giving them multiple food items at a time i doubt adult childrens would be happy with just one adult mouse. And weekly feeding doesn't really matter, they're most likely going to stop eating over winter if they're adults, and if you breed them, then you go back to weekly feeding for a few months before it wants to cool it's self again, are you going to get the snake back up to the size it needs for cooling/breeding again with ONE adult mouse every 7 days? The chart doesn't say anything about multiple items, nor does it cover every food item posible, who ever made it needs to re think it. |
