Question Feeding Crickets Gutload

on the directions to gutload it says to add the insects you wish to feed your pet to the feeding container with gutload. ensure the insects have had a good feed and then give them to your pets.
my question is can i put some gutload into my cricket farm? does the gutload do something to the crickets that is why we must seperate the crickets with the rest?
i have some gutload that i thought about putting in with my entire cricket farm. but am hesitant due to the instructions saying to feed only the crickets that you intend feeding your pets.
cheers

when i used crickets i just put the gutload in with all of them,...they seemed ok with it,..it just ran out too quickly,...

i just use beardy pellets with the roaches now (i hate crickets),...so thats another option thats yummy fro them and healthy for the lizards,...

If it's high in calcium (it probably is) it won't make a good staple food for crickets.

i have heard that a good food source for crickets is 4 parts skim milk powder and 1 part calcium powder sprinkled on top of cat food. and this would be good for them and then good for your pets.
