G'day dazza74, this question is frequently asked? pythons can go very long periods without food there are reports of up to and over a year. Don't panic about it as long as she isn't loosing condition she will be fine. You will see that she will change her attitude towards food very soon, I don't know where you are located? but the weather is warming up and this will kick in her desire to feed. I would still offer her food but don't stress about it if she doesn't eat it ok. Hope this helps a little ?

my female coastal hasnt eating in 3-4months, pink tongues in 1-2months. When itscold, metabolism slows right down, they dont burn energy so can survive long periods with no food

Our adult diamonds (presuming you have adults) only get fed for 6 months of the year (oct to mar).
Nothing to worry about.

My adult Diamonds that I keep outside have been eating right through the winter, the male has never refused a feed but the female is more fussy. I only give them little meals though. 3 months or more without food is no problem at all as long as they are healthy.

im glad everyone is talking about this, because i was just starting to get a little worried about my stimsons. Im in sunny qld and they have been eating all winter... except for the last month they havent touched anything. they are hiding alll the time now, and the smaller one is cloudy - but taking longer to shed than normal... ??

but they are sweet ? right ??
