When you do feed your diamond, make sure the temp over the next few days is fairly warm. So the snake can properly digest its food. If you dont the snake will regurgitate the food, leaving a really slimy and very smelly mess. Especially if they slither all through it.

My 7mnth Stimson hasnt eaten in a couple months, a mate checked him out for me and showed me how to do the skin pinch test thing. Arn't you ment to force-feed them once they start loosing condition/weight?

just leave it. Mine went for up to four or five months without food. Force feeding is pretty drastic and only needs to be done when they're losing weight but considering it's a diamond living in cool climate i wouldnt worry.

To force feed you should take it to a vet if you dont know what you're doing?

I gave a male it's first feed since April on the weekend and he ate fine.
His partner didn't eat as i think she is up the duff

Rest easy, a couple of months is all good.(yes, i know it becomes worrying)

hey dazza ,i have an adult carpet which from the time i recieved ownership till i finally got him to eat was 18 months!!

he retained body condition and was active the whole time

a couple of trips to the vet revealed an elevated amount of FLAGLETTES
which are organisms in the digestive system
so basicly he had a tummy ache and didnt feel like eating
some oral medication fixed the prob and he has eaten solidly since!!!
