I'd say keep him in the tub he came in for a bit, it might look small but he will feel more secure. Feeding just every 5-7 days you don't have to be right on the dot though =P just whenever you remember.
Best bet on these questions though would be to ask the breeder you got him from, did they not give you any info? |

Also when should i satrt handling him because he seems really snappy. |

sounds like it has only shed the head skin and nothing else.
You will have to soak it in tepid water and try to loosen the rest of the skin and
help it shed very carefully so as not to do and damage.
This process could take you a while so take your time. |

I think it is because the humidity is to low..but dount count on that.. now to get the rest of the skin of soak the snake in luke warm water, it will take a while to get it all and dont force the skin to come off - work on it slowly. Also, be careful at the tail - your snake can lose the tip of their tail during their next shed if you do not remove this sheds skin properly.

You will probably find that he calms down when he's been out for a little while, especially if you keep your hands away from his head. Good luck with the shed assistance. Be patient!

It may be a bit of a shock though, just try not to pull away too much or you could hurt him.
You could also leave him a few days after you get the rest of his shed off because he may be a bit stressed and probably would be calmer afterwards. |
