finished D.I.Y eclosure today with pics.

finished the little jobs i had to do on it today, some electrical and all that...didnt scrub up too bad i dont think. my coastal seemed to think so anyways. still a few more things to do just decorations and stuff. hope you like.

1800high, 950 wide 550 deep yeh i was thinking the same thing. any suggestions on what to add feel free to post...always good to hear peoples ideas. thanks.

ok, i would have a big rock backing in there (home made) with heaps of cliffs and stuff some hanging plants ing the corners...

very nice ssssmithy, the snake and enclosure look great. i think you've earnt yourself a beer. as luke 1 said a background rock wall would set it off. i have just finished one today for a smaller enclosure. it was way simple to do. heres a pic of it.

yep light cover going on tomorow. its not swithched on atm. thanks. yeh a rock wall would look cool, home made?? just out of foam or fibreglass or what?

cost me maybe 50 bucks worth of electricics and materials lol got most for free or already had stuff. neither actually i used bird mesh and covered the wire with a protective acrylic coating to stop rust and abrasions.

seems to keep the warmth good tested the temps the other day at 12.00pm and inside her rock was 24degr. and the warm end is around 28 under the blue basking lamp was 28degrees aswell and seemed to come on and off no more or less then in her terrainium.

the fake rock looks great yeldarb, so howd did you go about making it? materials ect. how long are you leaving it to air before you put it in?
