Finished Fridge Incubator

just thought i'd share some pics!

its a 50w 6m heat cord, controlled by a microclimate b1me. also have the dual probe digital thermometer in there too.

i will be using it for u. milii eggs this year, as my snakes are too young to breed this season.
so far so good! its holding a constant temp only a slight variation thats not worth worrying about +/-.4 of a degree......

thanks for looking, it was VERY easy to make and only cost me $190!

cheers,

Matt

Looks great, can I ask why you used a B1ME for your incubator rather than a B1?

That is excellent, you don't even need a fan in there. I am trying to source a fridge at the moment as the one I had lined up mysteriously vanished when workmen at the site packed up.... hmmmmm

Looks great Matt.

Just finished mine, nearly exactly the same except am using a 80W (9m) heat cord on a B2 thermostat. Is sitting nicely at 30.5deg, will let it run the night and see what variance I get. Post some pics on the weekend.

Good luck with your milli this year.

I found fridge repair shops are a good free source for fridges.
Ring around and theirs always one somewhere.
