Found a yellow faced whip snake at work (Cleveland, Brisbane) yesterday, just in the flower garden.. were a few their last season as well. Also nearly run over a Koala with a baby on its back on the way home, it made it across to the scrub tho...

There seems to be ALOT of yellow faced whip snakes, keelbacks and carpets around the cleveland and surrounding areas, even tho its pretty built up, with scattered bushland. Talking to people at work they see them in backyards almost on a weekly basis, and on the roads on the short trips to work.
