First Lot Of Baby Rats

hey all!

my first batch of rats were born yesterday! its so exciting!

but i can see culling them is going to be harder than i thought! theyre so cute!! what am i going to be like when they reach the size i need!

Congrats Matt welcome to the world of rat breeding they get alot cuter at about 10 to 14 days old thats when i find it the hardest to cull them.

awwww I love it when the mum rats have babys i cant do away with them i make hubby gas them when they get to the size I need ........3weeks ago one of my rat mom had 10 babys.... gots a while to go b4 they get to the size I want them at

I cull rats when needed. I feel no guilt or hesitations as it is something that needs to be done. Don't think of it it as taking away the rats life but granting the snakes survival

thats the reason i'm happy to keep buying them for now, i thought about breeding them, but i know i'd end up with a million rats i couldnt gas,....
