Not bad. I bet you are proud!
It won't be long before you start looking for your 2nd, 3rd and 4th and so on.

RE: FIRST SNAKE!!!!

give the snake plenty of hides, i found that
calmed them down alot.. without hides they
seem to feel vulnerable and are snappy.
so lots of hides.. enjoy

RE: FIRST SNAKE!!!!

Give it time to settle in, don't handle it to much in the first week. After about 1- 2 weeks handle him about 10 -15 every 3 -4 days. In time he will learn that you are not a threat and calm down.

As craig said 15 mins 3-4 times a week, feed in a seperate enclosure it will come good

RE: FIRST SNAKE!!!!

The thing i usually do with new snakes is give em an enclosure with a secure hiding place and feed em the same or the next day.
If it's a healthy snake it'll eat right away and will go into hiding to digest. After digesting the meal ( and in so doing hiding ) almost all of the time
the snake comes out calmed down and content .

Just my experience.

Cheers , Tom
