food for beardy

Just wondering, do beardy's eat their shed skins in the wild so predators don't get a whiff of their hide outs?

Ours eats his and just got me curious.

Not sure, I have never seen mine eat their own sheds. That's kinda gross

my guy has, but i choose not to let him. if it floats off in a bath he'll go after it, and ill fish it out quick smart...

Beardies will try and eat anything they might think is edible, dry skin is just a tasy tit bit to them.
